Emily Robertson is a soul and jazz vocalist from New Orleans, Louisiana. She leads Emily and the Velvet Ropes, sings with The Essentials, New Orleans Premier 10- piece 60's soul and Motown band, and can be seen with Naomi and the Double Wells, Jazz guitarist Phil deGruy, and singing back-up and harmonies with many other New Orleans acts.
