Bio
Emily Robertson is an expressive vocalist from New Orleans, Louisiana whose style straddles many genres from moody soul to punchy rock to sweet and subtle folk harmonies. Her music career began with singing in choirs, and eventually was recruited to sing for Rap/Rock band White Colla Crimes in 2008. From there she formed her own lounge band, Emily and the Velvet Ropes, and has since branched out to collaborating on many other projects, namely with 60's Soul band The Essentials. She is available for new projects, studio work and private events.
